Before you use Simple Letter AI
What the pilot includes
Translation and language editing for ordinary requests, appointment messages, simple customer-service messages and personal correspondence. The output is an AI draft, not a certified translation, professional advice or a guarantee of any outcome.
Not included: court or litigation documents, immigration applications, medical or financial advice, tax advice, contracts, debt disputes, legally significant notices and sensitive records. The service may refuse these requests.
Pilot terms
The pilot is free and is intended for adults who normally live in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. Poland, Gibraltar, Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man are not included in this first pilot. Access is limited to 30 days from the published start date, 3 attempts per signed-in account and 150 attempts in total. Refused requests count towards these limits. Technical failures do not. Availability is not guaranteed.
You keep control over whether to use or send a draft. AI can make mistakes. We do not promise a successful complaint or any legal result. These terms do not exclude or restrict rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. There is no payment, subscription or automatic paid renewal during this pilot.
Privacy and your information

Your subject, names and description are sent to OpenAI to prepare the draft. OpenAI API content is not used for model training by default; standard abuse-monitoring logs can be retained for up to 30 days, subject to exceptions. Hosting is provided through ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare. Provider processing may occur outside the UK.
We do not save the text of your letters in our database. Results stay on this page until you leave or reload it, unless you copy or download them. We keep a pseudonymous account identifier, attempt time, success/refusal status, token counts and optional 1–5 rating to enforce quotas, control costs and evaluate the pilot. We do not store your sign-in email or full name in the database. The account identifier is personal data even though it is hashed.
Pilot records are used for evaluation and security. Records older than 120 days are removed when the site is next visited; the operator will also review deletion after the pilot ends. Processing is based on legitimate interests in providing and securing the pilot; you can request access, correction or deletion and object to processing where applicable. For information about international processing, see OpenAI’s privacy policy and Cloudflare’s privacy policy. You may complain to the UK ICO. No advertising analytics or marketing mailing list is used. Platform sign-in may use necessary authentication cookies.
